Dear Parents and Carers

On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors I would like to warmly welcome you to Hillmead Primary School and Nursery.  I hope that our website gives you an insight into the learning that takes place in our school and the values and visions which underpin it.

As the Headteacher of Hillmead Primary I am fully committed to ensuring our school serves our local children and their families in a supportive and nurturing environment.  Our aim is to build relationships which are rooted in mutual trust and respect.

Our dedicated and talented staff provide exceptional care for the children - combined with our high standards, expectations and aspirations - children at Hillmead make good progress on achieving and realising their potential.  We are keen and proud to celebrate all the achievements and successes of our pupils both academically and also in wider interests such as sport and music.

Ensuring that our curriculum is rich and varied remains amongst our highest priorities.  We strive to provide a wide range of experiences which broaden horizons and challenge all along the way.  We want our children to be resilient and approach all aspects of their lives with determination, perseverance and joy.

In all we do at Hillmead, our expectations are clear, our standards high and our aspirations limitless.
