What is Pupil Premium funding? |
| Pupil Premium Funding is additional money delegated to schools, matched to the number of pupils who have received free school meals in the last 6 years and who are children in service families. |
How much money is given to schools? |
| In the 2022/23 budget the school received an indicative £23,545 in additional funding. |
How do we use this money? |

The money is used to directly support these children through releasing teachers or LSAs to provide small group interventions. Money is also used to support children at risk of not meeting the national targets of Level 2 at KS1 and Level 4 at KS2. We use this money to fund the delivery of our intervention programmes to pupils on the SEN register or those identified as not meeting age related expectations. We also use this money for wider opportunities in music and other curriculum opportunities. |
What is the impact of the funding? |
| The intended effect of this funding is to accelerate pupil progress and raise attainment. The impact is reviewed at termly pupil progress meetings. Evaluation will focus both on academic progress and also how self-confidence develops as a consequence of the interventions, the resources and the support provided. |
